Be American Political Action Committee (“Be American PAC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. (d) Identity Verification Information: Date of birth, partial Social Security Number, and other information necessary to verify your identity and comply with legal obligations.

(a) To send you newsletters, updates, and other communications about our activities, campaigns, and initiatives;

(e) To tailor our communications and content to your interests and preferences.

Please note that your name, address, occupation, employer, and contribution amount may be publicly disclosed in our FEC filings, which are available on the FEC website, as required by federal law.

We and our service providers may use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and other tracking technologies to collect information about your use of our Services. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device when you visit a website. These technologies help us:

  • 8.1 Communication Preferences

You may opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each communication or by contacting us at [email protected]. Please note that even if you opt out of receiving promotional communications, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account, contributions, or our ongoing business relations.

  • 8.2 Access, Correction, and Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at [email protected]. Please note that we may be required to retain certain information for legal, regulatory, or compliance purposes, including to comply with FEC regulations.

  • 8.3 Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature that signals to websites that you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. Our Services do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from an individual under 18, we will promptly delete that information.

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not operated or controlled by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

13. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

(a) Right to Know: You have the right to request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which we collected the personal information, the purposes for which we collected or used the personal information, the categories of third parties with whom we shared the personal information, and the categories of personal information that we disclosed for a business purpose.

(b) Right to Delete: You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

(c) Right to Non-Discrimination: You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your CCPA rights.

14. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR NEVADA RESIDENTS

Nevada residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A may submit a request to [email protected]. However, please note that we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt-out requirements.
